Ad Free Elections of the Hybrid Roman Federation
The Free Governor elections are aligned with the Hybrid Roman Federation. The goal is to elect governors from a pool of aspirants based on the historical regions of the year 1444. Understanding of this map combined with historical events after the year 1444 provides an indication of historical justice taking into account historical mistakes after this point zero, made by God's Chosen Nations and leaders. This does not mean that the European order in 1444 was perfect.
Historical justice is approached as a divine and arbitrary concept. The chief judge under God is the Federal Consul who represents the interests of Rome, and more specifically, the Rome of Union and Stability, excluding the traditional, modern, and post-modern enemies of Rome.
This is a democratic process that results in a community of Governors who in turn will elect the Consuls of higher jurisdicitons, like Client-Province modelled after the ancient Roman Empire, or City-State based on successful ancient and medieval city-states.
After the election, the Federal Consul has the authority to appoint a Governor, by analyzing the democratic voting process and by a due diligence check of the successful candidate. Based on serious grounds he can reject a candidate taking into account various principles, which may be conflicting. Essentially, it is a trade-off between, on the one hand, democracy, and, on the other hand, loyalty to Rome and candidate quality.
Disclaimer: these are not official government level elections of present day Nation-States. These elections relate to the resurrected ancient Roman Empire based on a new claim to Roman legacy. As ancient Rome is gone and as there is no competitor in this space, our claim is legitimate based on the fact that there is no contester or conflicting existing jurisdiction (at best, we should be considered a parallel society). The Hybrid Roman Federation is a private Enterprise, based on the principles of Knights Universalis. Our people are integrated with modern day society on multiple levels, and are effective based on the current limitations and conditions as set out by various social constructs.
